The invention relates to a novel garbage collection ship device which comprises a collection ship body and air bags arranged on the two sides of the collection ship body. A driving device is arrangedon one side of the collection ship body; a garbage collector is arranged in the collection ship body; the garbage collector comprises a collection cylinder which is movably connected into the collection ship body, a cylinder opening at one end of the collection cylinder is positioned outside the collection ship body; a plurality of wavy blocking pieces are arranged at the cylinder opening of the collection cylinder located outside the collection ship body, the end face of each wavy blocking piece is perpendicular to the cylinder opening of the collection cylinder, the center of the other end of the collection cylinder is fixedly connected with an output shaft of a driving motor fixedly arranged on the collection ship body, and the driving motor drives the collection cylinder to rotate. Inthe rotating process of the wavy blocking pieces arranged at the inlet of the collector, the water surface can be beaten to have water flow flowing into the collector, and therefore, garbage encountered in the path of the garbage collection ship is sucked into the collector, the garbage collection can be rapidly conducted, and the garbage collection efficiency is improved.
