The invention provides a bridge expansion device which comprises boundary beam profile steel, middle beam profile steel and a water stop belt, grooves are formed in the boundary beam profile steel andthe middle beam profile steel, and the water stop belt is provided with a belt body, a pair of connecting parts arranged at the two ends of the belt body respectively, wherein each connecting part comprises a body, a first lip arm, a second lip arm, a pair of frameworks and a plurality of first elastic pieces, the first lip arms are arranged on the upper portion of the body, the second lip arms are arranged on the lower portion of the body, U-shaped grooves are formed between the first lip arms and the second lip arms, and one framework is connected to the upper peripheries of the first lip arms; the other framework is connected to the peripheries of the lower parts of the second lip arm; the first elastic pieces are arranged in the body and evenly distributed in the length direction of the body, the upper plate portions of the first elastic pieces abut against the transition portion of one framework, and the lower plate portions of the first elastic pieces abut against the transitionportion of the other framework. The water stop belt of the bridge expansion device is convenient and fast to mount and dismount and the connection is reliable.
