The invention discloses a deceleration strip capable of automatically ascending and descending according to the vehicle speed and preventing reverse running. The deceleration strip comprises a deceleration strip unit, a lifting block cavity with an upward opening is formed in the deceleration strip unit; and a lifting block is arranged between the left wall and the right wall of the lifting blockcavity in an up-down sliding mode. When a vehicle passes through the deceleration strip at different speeds, the deceleration strip unit has different heights, the lower the vehicle speed is, the morethe deceleration strip unit descends until the deceleration strip unit is flush with the road surface, the vehicle can stably pass, the higher the fast vehicle speed, the larger the jolt degree is, so, the vehicle runs at a lower speed in an intersection, and the traffic safety of the road is ensured. The deceleration strip can further prevent reverse running to a certain extent, when the vehiclereverse running occurs, the deceleration strip rises to limit the passing of the vehicle, and when it is detected that the vehicle retreats, the deceleration strip descends to the normal position such that reverse running can be effectively prevented, the safety of road driving is improved, and traffic accidents are reduced.
