The invention relates to a highway steel structure crash barrier and relates to the highway crash barrier field. The crash barrier comprises a plurality of bases used for being poured on a highway bridge, main handrails arranged on the bases, a plurality of anti-collision handrails connected between every two adjacent main handrails, mounting plates connected between every two adjacent bases and anti-collision assemblies arranged on the mounting plates. One end of each anti-collision assembly is connected to each mounting plate, and the other end is connected to each anti-collision handrail; each anti-collision assembly comprises an anti-collision plate hinged to the mounting plate and a buffer piece arranged on the anti-collision plate; and one end of each buffer piece is connected to theanti-collision plate, the other end of each buffer piece is connected to the anti-collision handrail, and the multiple buffer pieces are evenly distributed on the multiple anti-collision handrails. The anti-collision performance of the highway crash barrier is improved.
