The invention relates to the technical field of municipal cleaning devices, in particular to a municipal multifunctional pavement cleaning device and a using method thereof. The device comprises a carriage, a cleaning assembly is arranged in the middle of the carriage, a driving motor is arranged on one side of the cleaning assembly, a heating box and a dustbin are arranged on the left side of thecleaning assembly in parallel, and a pressing assembly is arranged above the dustbin. A sludge concentration dehydrator is arranged on the left side of the dustbin. A water pump is fixed to the leftside of a water tank. A spray assembly is fixed on the bottom of the left side of the carriage, and a snow pressing roller and an ice breaking roller are fixed on the bottom of the right side of the carriage. When the device is used, the device can adapt to the cleaning of road surfaces under various conditions; the device has a wide application range, collected garbage with the large size can becompressed, more garbage can be stored in the dustbin, the cleaning assembly and the pressing assembly are driven to work at the same time through one driving motor, the number of used motors is reduced, mud and water separation can be conducted after mud on a silt accumulation road section is collected, and meanwhile, snow sweeping and ice breaking can be conducted.
