The invention discloses a vibration isolation buffer for a bridge, relates to the technical field of bridge engineering, solves problems of limited buffer capacity, poor anti-seismic effect on horizontal vibration and incapability of meeting actual requirements due to the fact that an existing bridge support generally buffers vibration in the vertical direction of the bridge through an elastic material in use. The vibration isolation buffer comprises a bridge base supporting plate. A group of left bridge deck mounting plates are mounted on the left side of the top of the bridge base supportingplate; a group of right bridge deck mounting plates are mounted on the right side of the top of the bridge base supporting plate; and two sets of damping buffers are hinged between the bridge base supporting plate and the right bridge deck mounting plates front and back. Hard damage caused by vibration can be prevented, and bridge components are better protected; meanwhile, buffering and vibration isolation between the left bridge deck mounting plate and the right bridge deck mounting plate in the horizontal direction can be achieved, buffering and vibration isolation between the right bridgedeck mounting plate and the bridge base supporting plate and between the left bridge deck mounting plate and the bridge base supporting plate are achieved, the buffering effect is good, and better vibration absorption performance is achieved.
