The invention relates to a trackless electric door limiting signal judgment method and a trackless electric door. According to the trackless electric door, an electric door moving end is connected with an electric door fixed end through a telescopic middle net, and a door opening limiting detection point and a door closing limiting detection point are arranged on an operation track of the trackless electric door. The method comprises the steps that: S1, the electric door moving end receives a moving signal and moves according to the moving signal; S2, a detection signal of the door opening limiting detection point and/or the door closing limiting detection point is detected in the moving process of the electric door moving end; and S3, the detection signal is determined to be the door opening limiting signal or the door closing limiting signal according to the initial position of the electric door moving end and the moving signal, and a detection result is stored. According to the method, the detection signal is determined to be the door opening limiting signal or the door closing limiting signal according to the initial position of the electric door moving end and the moving signal, the door opening limiting signal and the door closing limiting signal are not distinguished through the number of magnetic nails any more, and door opening and closing signals can still be accurately recognized even if a door body deflects.
