The invention discloses a safety alarm system for preventing people or animals from being left in an automobile. The system comprises a receiver capable of receiving a door locking signal transmittedby an automobile remote control key, an identification module, a processing module, an alarm module and a battery module, and is characterized in that the identification module comprises one or more voice identification sensors and one or more infrared cameras; the processing module comprises a single chip microcomputer and a driving circuit for controlling a driving device; and the alarm module comprises a buzzer, a wireless communication module and a positioner. The safety alarm system is reasonable, whether a person or an animal is left in an automobile or not can be recognized from multiple aspects of sound and images through the multiple voice sensors and the infrared camera of the identification module, and multi-object and multi-direction sending of help information is achieved through the multiple help alarm devices of the alarm module. Therefore, people or animals left in the vehicle can be rescued in time, and the life safety of people or animals left in the vehicle is guaranteed.
