The invention discloses a vibration reduction and power generation sleeper based on the resonance principle. The vibration reduction and power generation sleeper comprises an outer frame, a resonancebody and sealing plug blocks, a cuboid cavity is formed in the outer frame, the resonance body is arranged in the cuboid cavity, the sealing plug blocks are connected to the two ends of the cuboid cavity respectively, and the two ends of the resonance body are tightly attached to the sealing plug blocks respectively. The resonance body is formed by connecting a plurality of resonance units side byside, and each resonance unit comprises an upper stop block, a lower stop block, a support arm, a movable hinge, a spring, a high-density mass block and a piezoelectric material. On the premise thatthe strength and rigidity of the sleeper are guaranteed, the resonance units are arranged in the sleeper according to the resonance principle, the resonance units generate resonance counterforce on the sleeper under train excitation, the dynamic stress of the sleeper on a lower railway ballast can be directly reduced, and the service life of the railway ballast is prolonged; through structural design and optimization, the vibration reduction effect is enhanced by utilizing the mass amplification structure, and the harmonic oscillator vibration energy is converted into electric energy by utilizing the piezoelectric material, so that the electric energy can be provided for nearby power utilization units, and wastes are turned into wealth.
