The municipal pavement brick laying device comprises a mounting plate, a first clamping mechanism and a second clamping mechanism, wherein the first clamping mechanism and the second clamping mechanism are arranged on the mounting plate. the first clamping mechanism comprises two first clamping plates connected to the lower portion of the mounting plate in a sliding mode and a first driving assembly arranged on the mounting plate and used for driving the two first clamping plates to synchronously andoppositely move. The second clamping mechanism comprises a fixed clamping plate fixedly arranged below the mounting plate, a second clamping plate arranged on one side of the fixed clamping plate andslidably connected with the mounting plate, and a second driver arranged on the mounting plate and capable of driving the second clamping plate to slide close to or away from one side of the fixed clamping plate; the fixed clamping plate is located on one side of the middle position of the two first clamping plates, and one of the first clamping plates is located on one side of the middle position of the fixed clamping plate and the second clamping plate. The municipal pavement brick laying device has the effect of conveniently aligning pavement bricks which are arranged in two adjacent columns in a staggered manner in the pavement brick laying process.
