The invention relates to a pier column mounting method capable of guaranteeing the thickness of a base slurry of a prefabricated pier column. The method comprises the following steps that a steel plate is pre-buried at the bottom of a prefabricated pier column, wherein the steel plate and the bottom surface of the prefabricated pier column are positioned on the same plane; a supporting column is arranged on a bearing platform; when the prefabricated pier column is in butt joint with the bearing platform, the top end of the supporting column is tightly attached to the prefabricated pier columnbottom embedded steel plate. And after grouting materials are laid, a crane is adopted for lowering the prefabricated pier column, the reserved steel bars of the bearing platform are inserted into theconnecting sleeves embedded in the prefabricated pier column, the center line of the bottom of the pier column is measured again in the lowering process, a jack is finely adjusted, and the prefabricated pier column is in place accurately. The method has the beneficial effects that when the pier column is lowered to a connecting mortar part, the connecting mortar located on the same plane as the supporting column cannot be squeezed away by the dead weight of the pier column, the mortar higher than the supporting column is squeezed out by the dead weight of the pier column to be evenly dispersed around the bottom of the pier column, and the plumpness of the connecting mortar is guaranteed; and the mounting quality of the pier column is effectively ensured.
