The first handrail pipe is connected with one end of the second handrail pipe in a sleeved mode through a first energy absorption assembly, and the second handrail pipe can move in the axis direction of the pipe end connected with the first handrail pipe. The other end of the second handrail pipe is connected with one end of the third handrail pipe; the other end of the third handrail pipe is connected with the fourth handrail pipe in a sleeved mode through a third energy absorption assembly, and the third handrail pipe can move in the axis direction of the pipe end connected with the fourth handrail pipe. The invention further discloses an excavator. According to the handrail device, axialmovement in multiple directions can be achieved, the generation of internal stress is effectively reduced, and the risks of the cracking of welded joints and the cracking of connecting bolts are reduced.
