The invention relates to a sewer deodorization device and a construction method thereof. The sewer deodorization device comprises a drainage pipe and a lower bent pipe, wherein the lower bent pipe islocated in the middle of the drainage pipe; the lower bent pipe and the drainage pipe communicates to form a drainage passage; a water storage tank is arranged beside the lower bent pipe and communicates with an external municipal rainwater pipeline; a connecting pipe is arranged on the water storage tank; one end of the connecting pipe communicates with the water storage tank, and the other end of the connecting pipe communicates with the position, close to a sewage inlet, of the lower bent pipe; and a control assembly is arranged in the water storage tank and used for controlling communication or blocking of the connecting pipe and the inside of the water storage tank from the ground by a worker. The sewer deodorization device has the effects of blocking communication between a sewer andthe outside and preventing peculiar smell in the sewer from being emitted.
