The invention relates to the technical field of drainage, in particular to an odor-resistant and insect-resistant floor drain core and a floor drain with the same. The odor-resistant and insect-resistant floor drain core comprises a floor drain core body and a cover plate, the cover plate is located on the lower portion of the floor drain core body and attached to the end face of the floor drain core body, one end of the cover plate is rotationally connected with the floor drain core body so that the cover plate can rotate relative to the floor drain core body, the cover plate comprises a closing plate, a first connecting plate and a guide block, one side of the closing plate is connected with the first connecting plate, the other side of the closing plate is connected with the guide block, a containing cavity is formed in the guide block, an opening is located in the connecting face of the guide block and the closing plate, a slope is arranged on the inner wall of the lower portion ofthe containing cavity, and the slope angle c is larger than 15 degrees. According to the odor-resistant and insect-resistant floor drain core and the floor drain with the same, discharged water is stored in the containing cavity, the cover plate can be accelerated to be opened, the cover plate is closed under the action of the first connecting plate after the water is drained, and the water in the containing cavity flows out; water flow is prevented from being too fast and cannot be timely discharged from a drainage port; and meanwhile, stink, insects and cockroaches can be prevented from coming out of a sewer.
