The invention provides a production method for manufacturing a heat preservation filling block and a heat preservation building block brick by using rock wool waste, and relates to the field of rock wool production. The heat preservation filling block is manufactured by the following steps: collecting the rock wool waste; shredding the rock wool waste by a shredder to form crushed rock wool, and conveying the crushed rock wool to a feeding buffer bin; and uniformly spraying curing agent spray on the crushed rock wool, and conveying the crushed rock wool from the feeding buffer bin to extrusionshearing equipment; performing extrusion shearing, and generating the rock wool heat preservation filling block by the crushed rock wool through the extrusion shearing equipment; and packaging. The heat preservation building block brick is manufactured by the following steps: conveying the rock wool heat preservation filling block manufactured by the rock wool waste to a hollow building block brick production line, and inserting the rock wool heat preservation filling block into a cavity of a hollow building block brick on an inserting platform conveyor of the hollow building block brick production line; injecting foam cement between the hollow building block brick and the rock wool heat preservation filling block as a binder; and stacking and curing.
