The invention discloses a formwork clamping device for building construction, and relates to the technical field of building construction. The device comprises a supporting column; stand columns are symmetrically and fixedly connected to the upper surface of a supporting table; a first chute is formed at one side surface of each stand column; clamping plates are fixedly connected into the first sliding grooves through sliding blocks; through holes are formed in the upper surface of the supporting table; the interiors of the through holes are in sliding fit with peripheral side surfaces of sliding vertical rods; a strip-shaped mounting hole is formed at one side surface of the supporting column; one end of a T-shaped supporting rod penetrates through the strip-shaped mounting hole; the peripheral side surface of a rotating rod is fixedly connected with a driving tooth-shaped structure; and a rack is engaged with the peripheral side face of the driving tooth-shaped structure. Through thedesign of the first sliding grooves, the clamping plates, the sliding vertical rods, the T-shaped supporting rod, the driving tooth-shaped structure, the rack and a threaded rod, flexible adjustmentof the distance between the clamping plates and the supporting table can be achieved, clamping of building formworks of different thicknesses is achieved, the clamping effect is good, loosening is notlikely to happen, the structure is simple, and operation is convenient.
