The invention provides a damping device, a road roller and a control method of the road roller. The damping device is arranged between a cab and a frame of the road roller and comprises a first damping assembly and a second damping assembly, wherein the first end of the first damping assembly is connected with the frame and the cab, the frame and the cab can be tensioned so as to improve the rigidity between the cab and the frame, the second damping assembly comprises a damping vibration attenuation structure, and the two ends of the damping vibration attenuation structure are connected with the cab and the frame. According to the technical scheme, the vibration reduction effect can be achieved in the normal working state of the road roller, and the resonance degree of the cab can be reduced when the road roller starts vibration and stops vibration, therefore, according to the technical scheme, the driving comfort and the driving safety degree of the road roller are improved, and the maintenance cost of the road roller is reduced.
