The invention provides an embankment supporting structure and a construction method. The embankment supporting structure comprises a supporting foundation, mixed filling layers, a retaining wall foundation layer and a retaining wall. The supporting foundation comprises a plurality of pine piles which are distributed at intervals, and the pine piles are inserted into supporting layers according toa preset arrangement sequence respectively; the mixed filling layers are filled among the pine piles which are distributed at intervals to form foundation concrete; the retaining wall foundation layeris poured above the supporting foundation and the mixed filling layers; and the retaining wall is arranged on the retaining wall foundation layer. The mixed filling layers are filled among the pine piles which are distributed at intervals, so that the mixed filling layers are combined with the pine piles to form the foundation concrete, the structural strength of the foundation concrete is improved, the retaining wall is arranged on the retaining wall foundation layer, the structural strength of the retaining wall and the retaining wall foundation layer is also guaranteed under the guaranteeof the structural strength of the foundation concrete, few pine piles are adopted, and the embankment supporting structure has the advantages of being low in implementation difficulty and controllablein quality.
