A mixing assembly comprises a mixing kettle and a filtering frame fixed in an inner cavity of the mixing kettle; a hammering assembly comprises a working box communicating with the top of the mixing kettle and a feeding hopper communicating with the top of the working box; an inner cavity of the working box is fixedly connected with a fixed box and a fixed frame respectively; the back surface of the fixed box is in rotary connection with a rotary shaft; one end of the rotary shaft penetrates through and extends into the inner cavity of the fixed box; a cam is fixedly connected with a surface, located in the inner cavity of the fixed box, of the rotary shaft. The invention relates to the technical field of the preparation of the coal gangue brick. According to the hollow high-strength coal gangue brick and the preparation method thereof disclosed by the invention, when materials are mixed,a plurality of hammering plates and movable blocks are matched and move leftward and rightward to hammer the materials; when large-particle materials are crushed, the materials are extruded togetherand inner air is discharged, so that a condition that a lot of empty bags are generated in a green brick in a molding process can be effectively prevented and the molding quality of the green brick isincreased.
