The invention discloses a water permeable brick prepared from construction waste. The water permeable brick is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 40-50 parts of constructionwaste, 25-35 parts of phosphate tailings, 15-25 parts of brick red aggregate, 8-12 parts of a ventilation aid, 1-3 parts of a curing agent and 1-3 parts of water. The invention further provides a preparation method of the water permeable brick prepared from the construction waste. Construction waste is used as a main material, phosphate tailings are used as an auxiliary material, waste is turnedinto wealth, the requirement for environmental protection is met; in addition, brick red aggregate is added to enhance the strength of the water permeable brick, the water permeability requirement ofthe water permeable brick is met through a ventilation auxiliary agent, and a curing agent is added to improve the forming performance of the water permeable brick.
