The invention relates to the technical field of biogas collection, in particular to a refuse landfill biogas collection system and collection method. The collection system comprises a landfill area, aplurality of groups of gas wells vertically arranged in the landfill area and a gas guide header pipe, wherein the upper ends of the gas wells are exposed out of the landfill area, a communicating pipe is connected to the upper ends of the gas wells, and the gas guide header pipe is connected with the communicating pipe; the collection system also comprises a heat preservation device which is used for preserving heat for the ends, exposed out of the landfill area, of the gas wells and comprises a heat preservation box, and the heat preservation box covers the upper ends of the gas wells; andone end, close to the gas wells, of the communicating pipe is located in the heat preservation box, and the communicating pipe is obliquely arranged downwards in the direction away from the gas wells.The collecting system has the effect of high biogas collecting efficiency.
