The guardrail comprises two supporting rods, the side walls of the two supporting rods are jointly and fixedly connectedwith a protective barrier, a cleaning plate is arranged on the outer side of the protective barrier, a guide groove is formed in the side wall of one supporting rod, and one end of the cleaning plateis located in the guide groove. The function of automatically cleaning the protective barrier can be achieved when a vehicle passes by the side of the guardrail, workers do not need to conduct manualcleaning, on one hand, the workload of the workers is reduced, on the other hand, the safety of the workers is guaranteed, and meanwhile water in a cavity can flow out and flow down along the protective barrier when the vehicle passes by, and the cleaning effect can be further guaranteed in cooperation with scrubbing of the cleaning plate on the protective barrier.
