The invention relates to the technical field of washroom auxiliary tools, and discloses a water-saving wash basin capable of automatically closing a faucet and draining water. The water-saving wash basin comprises a wash basin body, wherein a through hole is formed in the inner wall of the wash basin body; a water inlet pipeline is fixedly mounted at the top of the wash basin body; a water inlet valve is movably mounted in the water inlet pipeline; a rotating switch is fixedly connected at the top of the water inlet valve; a control chamber is fixedly mounted on the left side of the wash basinbody; a limit slide is fixedly mounted at the bottom of the water inlet pipeline; and a wooden ball is slidably connected in the limit slide. The control chamber is mounted on the left side of the wash basin, the control chamber and the wash basin are connected through the through hole, the wooden ball continuously rises in the limit slide along with continuous rising of the liquid level of the control chamber under the action of buoyancy after water enters the control chamber from the through hole, so that the water inlet valve is jacked to move upwards, the faucet is closed, and the faucetis automatically closed.
