The invention relates to transversely-moving parking equipment, and belongs to the field of intelligent parking. The transversely-moving parking equipment comprises a transversely-moving vehicle carrying plate (100) and a tail plate (200), and is characterized in that the transversely-moving vehicle carrying plate is composed of a vehicle carrying plate body, greening grooves and telescopic arms;and the tail plate is composed of a front tail plate body and a rear tail plate body, and the front tail plate body and the rear tail plate body are rotationally connected with the front end and the rear end of the vehicle carrying plate body through a front rotating shaft and a rear rotating shaft respectively. The vehicle carrying plate body and the tail plate are driven by the right telescopicarm to transversely move left and right, and therefore vehicles can be stored and taken in idle intervals between trees; and parking of the vehicles on the two sides of a road is met, a non-motorizedvehicle lane is not occupied, and idle space is reasonably utilized, so that smoothness and safety of road traffic are guaranteed.
