The invention discloses a fence for building construction. The fence comprises a black and yellow warning plate and a lower U-shaped clamping groove, the lower U-shaped clamping groove is formed in the top end of the black and yellow warning plate, a color steel panel is arranged at the upper end of the lower U-shaped clamping groove, a rock wool sandwich panel is arranged in the color steel panel, and the upper end of the color steel panel is connected with an upper U-shaped clamping groove in a sleeved manner; supporting stand columns are arranged on the outer walls of the two sides of the black and yellow warning plate, the lower U-shaped clamping groove, the color steel panel and the upper U-shaped clamping groove correspondingly, mounting bases are arranged at the lower ends of the two supporting stand columns correspondingly, the upper ends of the two supporting stand columns are sleeved with stand column caps correspondingly, and the rock wool sandwich panel is arranged in the color steel panel, so that hollowing is avoided in the color steel panel. Due to the existence of a steel plate in the rock wool sandwich panel, the color steel panel is fixed more firmly between the upper U-shaped clamping groove and the lower U-shaped clamping groove, the interior of the color steel panel is supported, deformation is avoided when the color steel panel is hit or detached, and therefore material waste is avoided.
