The invention discloses a fire ladder for rescue. The fire ladder is provided with a bottom ladder and an extension ladder, wherein each of the bottom ladder and the extension ladder comprises two ladder rods and cross rods uniformly arranged between the two ladder rods; slide ways for clamping the extension ladder and allowing the extension ladder to slide are arranged on the inner sides of the ladder rods of the bottom ladder, and locking devices are arranged at the positions, close to the tops, of the slide ways; rope tying holes are formed in transverse rods at the lowermost ends of the bottom ladder and the telescopic ladder, a pulley is arranged on the lower side of the cross rod at the uppermost end of the bottom ladder, a traction rope is arranged in a mode of penetrating through the pulley, and two ends of the traction rope are fixed on the rope tying holes of the bottom ladder and the extension ladder correspondingly; holding rod grooves are formed in the front faces of the ladder rods, and one holding rod is arranged in each holding rod groove, and the holding rod is connected with the corresponding holding rod groove through a plurality of supporting rods with the two ends capable of rotating up and down; limiting blocks are arranged at the lower ends of the connecting portions between the holding rod grooves and the supporting rods, and lifting handles are arrangedin the middle parts of the front faces of the holding rods; and the top end of one ladder rod of the extension ladder is provided with a lock hook.
