The invention discloses an overturn stability verification method and system for a power transmission pole foundation, and the method and system are suitable for the calculation of a straight-column stepped foundation or a straight-column plate-type foundation of an excavation backfill-type foundation, and the method comprises the steps: determining an overturn angle of an uplift soil body at oneside of the power transmission pole foundation; based on the overturn angle, determining the dead weight of the soil body above the foundation slab of the power transmission pole; determining the sumof the dead weight of the soil body above the power transmission pole foundation slab and the dead weight of the power transmission pole foundation; and according to the balance of the external load calculation force acting on the foundation, determining whether the overturn stability requirement is met or not. According to the method, during overturn stability calculation, the sum of the soil body over the foundation and the soil body pulled up from one side of the foundation is considered, when the foundation enters an overturning sliding state, the soil body on one side of the foundation participates in overturn stability verification, part of overturn moment is offset through the soil weight, and the overturn influence of the external load of the foundation on the foundation is reduced.
