The invention discloses a traveling type watering cart for road surface detection, comprising a right folding plate, wherein a convenient folding mechanism convenient for folding and unfolding of equipment is arranged in the right folding plate; an energy-saving watering mechanism for comprehensively watering a road surface is arranged at the lower end in the right folding plate; and the lower endin the right folding plate is further equipped with a road surface detection mechanism for detecting road surface flatness and marking; the left end of the right folding plate is provided with a folding cavity with a leftward opening. The equipment can be folded in a double-layer mode and has the advantage of being convenient to carry, and can be extended to the width of a road in the working state for completely watering and detecting a road, such that when the road surface is watered, the equipment can intermittently spray water and automatically add water to save certain water amount whileguaranteeing complete automatic watering of the road surface, detect the flatness of the road surface while watering the road surface, and timely mark on sunken and concave parts of the road surface,thereby facilitating later-stage treatment on uneven parts of the road surface.
