The invention discloses a dust removal device for building construction. The dust removal device comprises a machine body; a collecting cavity with a leftward opening is formed in the machine body; the right side wall of the collecting cavity communicates with an air inlet cavity with a rightward opening; a fixing rod is fixedly installed on the upper wall and the lower wall of the air inlet cavity, and a belt cavity is formed between the fixing rod and the top wall of the fixing rod; a fan shaft is rotatably mounted between the belt cavity and the air inlet cavity; an air inlet fan is fixedlymounted on the fan shaft in the air inlet cavity; a speed change cavity is formed in the position, on the left side of the belt cavity, of the machine body; and a transmission shaft is rotatably mounted on the wall body between the speed change cavity and the belt cavity; and the transmission shaft and the fan shaft are connected in the belt cavity through connection of a transmission belt. The device is simple in structure and convenient to operate, and a lifting plate is controlled by the control motor to move up and down, so that the movement of the collecting fan is controlled, a blockingbelt is driven to be unfolded, and dust is collected and treated.
