The invention provides a hydraulic model test teaching platform. The hydraulic model test teaching platform comprises a simulation flow channel, a moving trolley, a water surface line measuring mechanism, a driving screw rod, a guide assembly, a three-dimensional moving measuring assembly, an adjusting motor, a collecting and calculating box and a power supply, wherein the simulation flow channelis provided with a multi-stage step structure with the height reduced at equal intervals, and symmetrical walking grooves are formed in the two sides of the simulation flow channel; the moving trolleyis arranged in the walking grooves; the water surface line measuring mechanism comprises two bearing seats; the driving screw rod is rotationally installed on the two bearing seats; the guide assembly is fixedly installed on the moving trolley; the three-dimensional moving measuring assembly is installed on the guide assembly in a sliding mode and is in threaded connection with the driving screwrod; the adjusting motor is fixedly installed on the moving trolley and is connected with the driving screw rod; the collecting and calculating box is used for controlling the adjusting motor and themoving trolley to act and collecting and calculating measurement data of the three-dimensional moving measuring assembly; and the power supply is electrically connected with the collecting and calculating box. The correlation degree between the water surface line height change and the flow capacity parameter of the water flow in the simulation flow channel with the fixed flow speed is determined.
