The invention discloses an environment-friendly device for cleaning plastic garbage in a river channel. The environment-friendly device comprises a box body, wherein a cavity is formed in the box body, a through groove penetrating through the inner wall of the upper side of the cavity is formed in the upper side of the box body, auxiliary boxes are fixed on the upper inner wall and the lower innerwall of the cavity, auxiliary cavities which are through up and down are formed in the auxiliary boxes, and baffles are connected to the inner walls of the auxiliary cavities in a sliding mode. According to the environment-friendly device, water flow enters the device by utilizing siphon, when the water flow enters the device, a cleaning device can separate out plastic garbage bottles which are easy to pick up, the water entering the device can be automatically filtered, the filtered garbage can be cleaned, and then the filtered water is discharged; and the device is simple in overall structure, the plastic garbage bottles and the garbage falling into the device are alternately cleaned, and the pollution of floating objects of the plastic garbage in the river channel can be relieved.
