The invention relates to the technical field of hinges, and particularly relates to an external door body return hinge. The external door body return hinge comprises a hinge return structure, whereinthe hinge return structure comprises a hinge base plate body; a hinge main shaft body is connected to the interior of the hinge base plate body; the hinge main shaft body penetrates through the interior of the hinge base plate body; a torsion spring is fixedly connected to the outer surface of the hinge main shaft body in a sleeving mode; a shaft hole clamping spring is arranged at one end of thetorsion spring; a hinge torsion piece is connected to the middle end of the hinge main shaft body; a limiting pressing plate is fixedly connected to one end of the hinge base plate body; a limiting spring is fixedly connected to the interior of the limiting pressing plate; and a bearing steel ball is fixedly connected to one end of the limiting spring. According to the external door body return hinge, the torsion spring and the hinge torsion piece are arranged, so that the functions of automatic return and reset are realized; and in addition, when the hinge torsion piece abuts against one sideof the bearing steel ball, the position of the hinge torsion piece can be limited.
