BUCKET-WHEEL EXCAVATOR AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A BUCKET WHEEL EXCAVATOR
The present invention relates to a bucket-wheel excavator, the bucket wheel of which can be driven rotatably and is mounted on a pivotable bucket wheel support, and to a method for controlling such abucket-wheel excavator. According to the invention, at a specified pivot angle speed, a mass flow rate and/or volume flow rate which results on the discharge conveyor during pivoting of the bucket wheel at the predefined pivot angle speed over the pivot angle is determined; a desired mass flow rate and/or volume flow rate on the discharge conveyor is specified and then the formerly specified pivotangle speed is corrected automatically using the determined mass flow rate and/or volume flow rate and the specified desired mass flow rate and/or volume flow rate in order then to carry out the pivoting cycle at the corrected pivot angle speed of the bucket wheel.

The present invention relates to a bucket-wheel excavator, the bucket wheel of which can be driven rotatably and is mounted on a pivotable bucket wheel support, and to a method for controlling such abucket-wheel excavator.
