The invention discloses an isolation device for road construction. The isolation device structurally comprises a guardrail main body, an inclination restraining system, a sign and a lifting handle. The isolation device has the beneficial effects that when a guardrail inclines due to the effect of a foreign object, an arranged balance mechanism is used for realizing self-balance component force processing on the guardrail under the mutual cooperation effect of a sliding balance assembly and a balance plate through opposite thrust generated through cooperation, so that the condition that the guardrail is in an inclination and toppling state and is unfavorable for isolation of a construction road is avoided. Through an arranged gathering buckle structure, a buckling and pressuring structure design after the gathering buckle structure is pushed and a rough structure on the side surface of a telescopic buckle cooperate with each other, so that the friction between the buckling and pressuring structure and the rough structure can be favorably increased on the nested guardrail main body surface, and compact connection is realized; and meanwhile, the guardrail main body is convenient to mount and dismount.
