The invention discloses a support structure, a large-load trench cover plate structure and a construction method. The support structure comprises a U-shaped fixed base with an upward opening, a U-shaped adjustable base arranged in a notch of the U-shaped fixed base and slurry, an opening of the U-shaped adjustable base is arranged downwards, and the U-shaped adjustable base comprises a vertical plate and a transverse plate. The lower portion of the outer side face of the vertical plate is arranged on the inner wall of the notch of the U-shaped fixed base in an attached mode, two first round holes are formed in the transverse plate and formed in the two ends of the transverse plate respectively, and a grouting hole is formed between the two adjacent first round holes. A cavity for pouring the slurry is reserved between the U-shaped fixed base and the U-shaped adjustable base. The support structure is simple in design, adjustable in height, flexible to use, good in operability, controllable in cost, easy and convenient to construct and good in universality. The U-shaped fixed base and the U-shaped adjustable base are made of finished channel steel or factory steel plates in a tailor-welded mode, and the out-of-groove width of the U-shaped adjustable base is equal to the in-groove net width of the U-shaped fixed base.
