Thepositioning assistive device comprises a body, a prism arranged on the body, two sliding cavities formed in the same side of the body and two abutting blocks, wherein the two sliding cavities are correspondingly formed in the left side and the right side of the prism, and the sliding cavities and the prism are correspondingly arranged on the two sides of the body; an elastic piece is connected tothe side wall, close to the other sliding cavity, of the sliding cavity; and the two abutting blocks are correspondingly and slidably assembled in the two sliding cavities and connected with the elastic piece, and part of the structures of the abutting blocks extend out of the sliding cavities. According to the positioning assistive device, the position of the hollow part of the hollow beam can be rapidly positioned and accurately measured.
