The invention relates to an overhauling platform for a working door of a head of a ship lift and a construction method of the overhauling platform. A bottom overhauling platform is driven by a winch hoist to ascend and descend, and the winch hoist is installed on a bent frame column. The bottom overhauling platform comprises a bottom walkway beam, an operation platform is laid at the upper end ofthe bottom walkway beam, and guide wheels are installed on the left side and the right side of the bottom walkway beam. A plurality of combined oil cylinders are installed at the bottom end of the bottom walkway beam, and the combined oil cylinders are connected with positioning columns on the working door of the head of the ship lift in an inserted mode to complete locking. Side overhauling platforms are installed on overhauling position platforms on the left side and the right side of the working door of the head of the ship lift, and each side overhauling platform comprises a fixed platformand a movable platform. Four-corner flange plates are arranged on the upper portion and the lower portion of each movable platform, and the movable platforms are detachably connected through the four-corner flange plates. According to the overhauling platform for the working door of the head of the ship lift and the construction method of the overhauling platform, the construction workload can bereduced to a great extent, and the structure of the working door of the head of the ship lift is protected against damage.
