The invention discloses a traffic protection device which comprises a mountain body and is characterized in that the left side of the mountain body is fixedly connected with a road surface, the upperside of the road surface is provided with a space above the road surface, the lower side of the road surface is fixedly connected with a buffer storage shell, and the middle of the buffer storage shell is provided with a shell internal space; a mountain internal space is formed in the lower portion of a buffer plate recovery pull rod, a buffer device used for consuming kinetic energy of an automobile after the automobile is collided is arranged in the internal space of the shell, and a warning device used for warning a rear automobile after the automobile is collided is arranged on the left side of the buffer storage shell. The left side of the buttering device is provided with a protection device for preventing vehicles from overturning after the vehicles suffer collision. The traffic protection device can be installed on the two outer side faces of a road, so that kinetic energy of an automobile can be slowly consumed when the automobile is collided, the automobile is prevented frombeing turned out of the guardrail, and therefore the automobile and people in the automobile are prevented from being damaged more seriously. The buffering device and the protection device mainly depend on the one-way damper to achieve one-way passive kinetic energy counteracting, hydraulic transmission is mainly adopted when the device recovers, and therefore overall transmission is durable, labor-saving and reliable.
