The invention discloses a TPOT-based slot milling machine construction setting parameter recommendation method. The method comprises the following steps that S1, construction parameters during millingoperation of a slot milling machine are obtained; S2, the construction parameters in the step S1 are pre-processed to obtain a construction characteristic data sample of the slot milling machine; S3,the characteristic data sample in the step S2 is optimized by using a TPOT method to obtain a prediction model used for construction setting parameters of the slot milling machine; and S4, the real-time work working condition data of the slot milling machine are input into the prediction model in the step S3 to obtain the current recommendation setting parameter value of the slot milling machine,and manpower is assisted in adjusting the construction setting parameters of the slot milling machine. The method has the technical effect of generating the construction setting parameters of the slot milling machine in real time in the working state, and can be widely applied to the technical field of slot milling machine construction.
