The invention relates to a scaffold for a special part of a building, and discloses a high-altitude operation platform arranged on a lower chord of a truss and a building method thereof. After a high-altitude packway is built, a series of existing beams including the lower chord of the truss and a packway beam are connected into a latticed structure through a newly-added platform beam, then a baseplate is laid on the latticed structure, and the complete and large-area high-altitude operation platform is formed. According to the high-altitude operation platform arranged on the lower chord of the truss and the building method thereof, high-altitude operation is changed into a construction process similar to indoor operation, the safety of truss construction is greatly improved, thus the psychological burden of high-altitude operation of constructors is relieved, the construction efficiency is obviously improved, and night construction is further allowed; the high-altitude operation platform completely separates the truss from the ground, the object falling problem in high-altitude operation is solved, and thus truss operation and ground operation can be conducted simultaneously; anda slip rope can further be arranged on the high-altitude operation platform, and thus the constructors can transfer a to-be-mounted component to the required position from the edge of the platform conveniently.
