The invention relates to a water soaking prevention device for an automobile. According to the technical scheme, the device comprises two vertical plates which are arranged left and right side by sideat intervals, a vertical groove is formed in each vertical plate, a sliding block is installed in each vertical groove, a flat plate is fixed to the front end of each sliding block, a connecting plate with the left end and the right end hinged to the two flat plates is arranged between the left flat plate and the right flat plate, a U-shaped plate with a downward opening is installed on the rearend face of each vertical plate in a sliding mode, a plurality of blind grooves are evenly distributed in the inner side of a side plate of each U-shaped plate at intervals in the length direction ofeach U-shaped plate, the left side and the right side of the rear end of each sliding block are each provided with a set of wedge-shaped blocks which can contract towards the interior of the sliding block and have the outward popup tendency, a vertical air pressure push rod is arranged on the rear side of each vertical plate, a piston cylinder with a downward opening end is arranged on the inner side of each vertical plate, and the U-shaped plates move downwards to extrude the corresponding piston rods to move downwards and extrude gas in the piston cylinders into the air pressure push rod onthe other side.
