The invention relates to a multifunctional movable outward convex body structure and an operation method thereof. The outward convex body structure comprises a formwork and an outward convex body, wherein the outward convex body protrudes outwards along the formwork; an opening matched with the outward convex body is formed in the formwork, the outward convex body is rotationally connected with one end of the formwork, and the other end of the formwork is a free end; and when the free end moves to the opening of the formwork relative to a rotating end, a balcony/bay window of the formwork is formed, and when the free end moves to the interior of the formwork relative to the rotating end and is fixed, the outward convex body is stored. The invention further discloses the operation method ofthe multifunctional movable outward convex body structure. According to the multifunctional movable outward convex body structure and the operation method thereof, the formwork not only can be used as a container for sea and land transportation, but also can be used as a house body; during transportation, the container transportation standard can be met under the condition that the outward convexbody is not disassembled, and the outward convex body can be protected against collision and damage; and during on-site installation, the outward convex body can be directly rotated to be installed and fixed to form the balcony or the bay window, so that the working efficiency is greatly improved, and the installation time is shortened.
