The invention discloses a drainage device for an external wallboard of an assembly type building. The drainage device comprises a solid wall body and heat insulation wall units; each heat insulation wall unit comprises a heat insulation plate and a square cylinder, the square cylinders and the heat insulation plates are installed in a sealed mode to form the heat insulation wall units, the multiple heat insulation wall units are spliced to form a heat insulation wall, the right side faces of the heat insulation plates are each provided with a plurality of evenly-distributed first through holes, the same internal thread round pipe is fixedly installed in the corresponding first through holes in the two heat insulation plates, an external thread shell is installed in the internal thread round pipe, and a first drill bit is installed at the left end of the external thread shell in a matched mode. According to the drainage device for the external wallboard of the assembly type building, the external thread shell is drilled into the wall body, meanwhile, the heat insulation wall units are inflated with high-pressure gas to detect holes in the splicing positions of the heat insulation wall units and then are filled, water can be prevented from entering the heat insulation wall, so that the heat insulation wall always keeps the initial heat insulation effect, the heat insulation effect of the device is improved, compared with a traditional externally-hung wallboard, the installation is faster and more efficient, and the installation difficulty of workers is greatly lowered.
