Masonry mortar joint thickness control device and method
The invention relates to a masonry mortar joint thickness control device and method, and relates to the field of building construction. The defect that when a horizontal mortar joint is controlled through a visual inspection mode, due to the fact that visual inspection is greatly influenced by subjective factors of people, and the process levels of constructors are uneven, the thickness of the mortar joint cannot be accurately controlled is overcome. The device comprises a frame body, two clamping plates which abut against the lower side of the frame body and are connected with the frame bodyin a sliding mode, at least one driving mechanism driving the two clamping plates to get close or get away from each other, and two adjusting mechanisms adjusting the distance between the frame body and a masonry so as to control the thickness of the mortar joint. The device and method have the effects that the surface, away from the masonry, of the mortar joint is kept flat, and the accuracy of the mortar joint thickness is improved.
