The invention provides an engineering machinery system with an intelligent monitoring function, and is applied to the field of engineering machinery. The system involves a positioning scanning deviceand an excavating device; the positioning scanning device is placed on the periphery of a construction area, and is constructed to monitor and scan a terrain model of the construction area, sense thedistance between the positioning scanning device and the excavating device and indicate the moving direction of the excavating device at the same time; and the excavating device is constructed to excavate the construction area according to the terrain model scanned by the positioning scanning device. The range of the construction area can be limited by arranging the positioning scanning device, sothat the situation that properties are damaged and even safety is endangered due to the fact that the excavating device is operated by mistake outside the construction area is prevented; and meanwhile, the positioning scanning device can scan and analyze the terrain of the construction area so that the excavating device can conveniently and accurately construct the ground needing to be repaired.
