The invention discloses an ecological water supplementing scheduling system and method applied to small and medium-sized riverways. The system comprises a water supplementing source, a controller anda central control machine; the water supplementing source is in communication with a rainwater main drainage port through a rainwater pipeline, a rainwater and sewage switching valve is arranged on the rainwater pipeline, and the rainwater pipeline between the rainwater and sewage switching valve and the water supplementing source is connected with a municipal sewage pipe network through a discarding pipeline; the water supplementing source is further connected with a river through a water supplementing pipeline, a flow meter is arranged in the river and used for measuring the flow of the river, a water supplementing pump is arranged on the water supplementing pipeline to serve as a water conveying power device, and the water supplementing pipeline is also provided with a water pump adjusting cabinet to control operation of the water supplementing pump; and a secondary purification filler device is further arranged on the water supplementing pipeline, the water pump adjusting cabinet is connected with the controller through a control circuit, the flow meter is connected with a remote I/O module through a signal circuit to be used for transmitting flow information to the controller,the central control machine is connected with the controller through a 4G network, and the controller is also connected with the remote I/O module through a 4G network.
