The invention discloses a water surface robot for ecological restoration of an eutrophic water area, which comprises a ship body, a trigger groove is formed in the ship body in a penetrating mode, a U-shaped cavity is formed in the ship body, the U-shaped cavity is composed of two transverse cavities and a vertical cavity, and the two transverse cavities are located on the two sides of the triggergroove respectively; and a transmission mechanism which comprises a motor installed in the vertical cavity, threaded rods are horizontally arranged in the two transverse cavities, and the two threaded rods are rotationally connected with the inner walls of the corresponding transverse cavities correspondingly. When the equipment is used, a worker only needs to drive the ship body, the motor is started to drive the fishing net to expand, floating algae are fished, manual fishing is not needed, labor consumption is low, and potential safety hazards are avoided.
