The invention provides a novel thin-wall large-diameter single pile-barrel composite pile foundation and an installation method thereof. The novel thin-wall large-diameter single pile-barrel compositepile foundation comprises an outer barrel-shaped foundation and a thin-wall variable-cross-section single-pile foundation located in the middle of the outer barrel-shaped foundation, and the thin-wall variable-cross-section single-pile foundation comprises an upper foundation part and a lower foundation part; the diameter of the upper foundation part is smaller than that of the lower foundation part; a plurality of annular plates are arranged at the inner side of the upper foundation part at intervals from top to bottom, a plurality of vertical rib plates are evenly arranged between the outerwalls of the annular plates and the inner wall of the upper foundation part, a plurality of annular reinforcing beams are arranged at the outer side of the lower foundation part in the circumferential direction, and Y-shaped reinforcing ribs are arranged between the adjacent annular reinforcing beams; the pile foundation is reasonable in design, can provide higher bearing capacity and rigidity compared with a traditional single-pile foundation, and can serve as a foundation form with higher fan power; in the aspect of the specific structure, the wall thickness of the same foundation is optimized, the structural strength is guaranteed, steel is saved, and the economical efficiency is good; and the bearing performance of the foundation can be remarkably improved as the foundation is connected with the outer barrel-shaped foundation in a grouting manner.
