The invention provides a solid-phase synthesis method of BSAS powder for an environmental barrier coating, and belongs to the technical field of coating materials. The solid-phase synthesis method comprises the following steps: mixing BaCO3, SrCO3, Al (OH) 3 and SiO2 as raw materials according to a certain molar ratio, and ball-milling, drying, sieving and sintering the mixture to obtain blocky BSAS; adding Arabic gum, ammonium citrate and deionized water according to a certain ratio, and carrying out ball milling; and carrying out ball milling again, and then carrying out spray granulation toobtain hollow spherical BSAS powder. The method is simple in technological process, easy to operate, low in synthesis temperature and low in production cost; and the synthesized BSAS powder is of a single-phase structure, the particle size distribution is 40-125 microns, the powder is stable in structure at the high temperature of 1400 DEG C, the flowability of the synthesized powder is good, andthe BSAS powder is suitable for preparing a BSAS environmental barrier coating through plasma spraying.
