The invention belongs to the technical field of underground space construction, and particularly relates to an underground diaphragm wall and a construction method thereof. The construction method ofthe underground diaphragm wall comprises the following steps that a plurality of mounting blocks are fixed to the outer side of a reinforcement cage in the thickness direction; iron sheets are mountedon the outer sides of the plurality of mounting blocks; reinforcing steel bars are fixed to the outer sides of the iron sheets, and a fixing position of each reinforcing steel bar directly face the corresponding at least two mounting blocks in the thickness direction of the corresponding iron sheet; the reinforcement cage is hoisted into a foundation trench of the underground diaphragm wall; andconcrete is poured, and subsequent construction is completed. The underground diaphragm wall is manufactured through the underground diaphragm wall construction method. The method is simple to operate, can effectively prevent bumps and over-thick concrete protective layers during concrete pouring, can control the thickness of an underground diaphragm wall protective layer, and has passed field construction verification.
